Clifton Tatum is a Palm Springs resident celebrating his 10 year anniversary as Mr Palm Springs Leather.  He is a retiree from the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation since 2007.  Coming out at the age of 40, Cliff quickly gravitated toward the “Leather Community” finding camaraderie, masculinity and edgy play. Friends know him as “Cliff” and he's has been a member  of Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert since 2012 holding the titles of Treasurer 2 years and President 3 years. 



Race Bannon has been an organizer, writer, educator, speaker, and activist in the LGBTQ, leather/kink, polyamory, and HIV/STI prevention realms since 1973. He is an author, widely published writer, active speaker, community organizer and project leader, and has received numerous national and local awards, the latest of which was The Academy SF 2022 Diane Jones Solidarity Award. Previously of New York City, Drew Kramer has called Palm Springs home for fifteen years. Drew is Mr. PS Leather 2011.  He is the editor-in-chief of Drummer Magazine, an officer with the Desert Division of the California B&B Corps, and the founder of the Palm Springs Bondage Club. As a leatherman he values Tradition, Fraternity, and a life of Erotic Exploration and Adventure. 


Oscar is Mr. PS Leather 2024.   He is passionate about his charity work and is focused on helping LGBTQIA+ youth. A proud supporter and enthusiast of the leather, kink, fetish, and drag communities- Oscar is active in the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence here in Palm Springs.  Oscar is "Alegria Q.L." with the local chapter of the Sisters.  A former educator, currently a psychology nursing student.  His goal is to reach out to members of the community and create spaces where we allcan share stories, hopes and dreams to make our community stronger and more welcoming to all.

H. Jamal McCrainey has been in the kink community for about 12 years, having attended events like IML, MAL, Folsom, Folsom Europe, and C.L.A.W. He is a recent transplant from the Bay Area to Palm Springs and is a proud member of Onyx NW. He has worked on several projects to raise awareness in the leather community regarding the inclusion of POC and believes leather is the person, not the attire. Avid fister/fistee. Jamal loves openly speaking about and educating people about his kink.



John Keplar relocated to Palm Springs after 28 years in San Francisco and has been instrumental in establishing a BLUF Chapter by actively organizing events here in Palm Springs. John's leather journey began back in 1987 on his first visit to Touche in Chicago, then, shortly after, becoming an Associate Member of The Hell Fire Club.  John's journey continued taking him to many leather events and connecting with leather men around the world.  He is most proud to be doing his part to build a vibrant and welcoming leather community in Palm Springs.
