PSLOD welcomes new members of the Palm Springs area to explore membership with our organization. If you are interested in learning more about the process of becoming a member please complete the on-line interest form below. It is important as a 100% volunteer organization that our members both actively participate and volunteer in events and projects of the Order.

We currently have two types of memberships; a full General Member with voting rights, and an Associate Member without voting rights or meeting attendance requirements.

To become a General Member or an Associate Member, any prospective pledge should start with attending meetings and volunteering, as well as securing a sponsor if you don't already have one. Its important that you get to know members and that you decide if being a member of the Order is the right fit for you.

In order to move forward as a General Member Pledge, you need to complete and sign the Full Membership Application, then return it, listing your sponsor. You'll then need to attend two monthly meetings, and speak, where your sponsor will introduce you. After your second speaking meeting, a ballot vote is conducted by the General Membership. It takes a minimum of 90-days to become a member.

Annual dues are $60, and optionally, an additional $40 for the patches and pin.

Alternately, you can become an Associate Member, which is designed for those who are in the Coachella Valley only part time, as well as for those who are unable to regularly attend meetings.  Membership dues are $30, there are no monthly attendance requirements, yet you have no voting rights with an associate membership, however, you'll still retain most membership benefits.  To become an Associate Member, you just need five members to sign on as your sponsors, then submit your Associate Member Application and, finally, pay your dues.

To apply please download and fill the Membership Application, by picking the button below, and return it to:
